Mechanism Of Action Of Pectin

• Pectin not only provides additional adsorptive power to that of kaolin, but it also has a coating effect on the bowel.
• Thus it considered as a safe and efficient antidiarrheal product that combines both adsorbent and demulcent properties essential for the treatment of diarrhea.

 

Therapeutic Indications Of Ronpect Capsule

• Diarrhea: loose, watery, and possibly more-frequent bowel movements (more than 3 times daily)

 

Method Of Administration Of Ronpect Capsule

• Take 1-2 capsules after a meal
• Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
• If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
• If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
• Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.
