Mechanism Of Action Of Levofloxacin
- Levofloxacin is a bactericidal antibiotic of the fluoroquinolone drug class.
- It inhibits DNA replication by inhibiting bacterial DNA topoisomerase and DNA-gyrase which are necessary to separate bacterial DNA, thereby inhibiting cell division.

- It is indicated in the treatment of adult patients with bacterial infections in the following body parts:
- Lungs and bronchi
- Urinary tract (bladder and kidneys)
- Sinuses
- Prostate
- Skin and soft tissues
Method Of Administration Of Evox 750 Mg Tablets
- Take a tablet with or without food.
- Take a tablet with a full glass of water.
- Take at the same time every day.
- Do not take more or less than prescribed by your doctor.
- Do not stop taking your medication prior to the end of prescribed duration even if you start feeling better.
- Drink a lot of fluids while taking this medication.
- Your doctor will decide the correct dose for you. The dose will depend on the severity and type of infection
- Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
- If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
