Mechanism Of Action Of Fenofibrate

• Activates peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha (PPARα) leading to increased lipolysis and elimination of triglyceride-rich particles from plasma.
• Results in reduced triglycerides, increased HDL cholesterol, and moderate reduction of LDL cholesterol.

Therapeutic Indications Of Lypfen

• Treatment of severe hypertriglyceridemia.
• Treatment of mixed dyslipidemia (elevated LDL and triglycerides, low HDL).
• Adjunct to diet for patients with hyperlipidemia not adequately controlled by diet and exercise alone.

Method Of Administration Of Lypfen
