Mechanism Of Action Of Irbesartan / Hydrochlorothiazide

• Irbesartan blocks the binding of angiotensin II to AT1 receptors, reducing vasoconstriction and lowering blood pressure.
• Hydrochlorothiazide increases sodium and water excretion by inhibiting sodium reabsorption in the distal tubules of the kidneys, thereby reducing blood volume and blood pressure.

Therapeutic Indications Of Arena Plus

• Treatment of essential hypertension in patients not adequately controlled with monotherapy.
• Management of hypertension where combination therapy is appropriate.

Method Of Administration Of Arena Plus

• One tablet once daily with or without food.
• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water at the same time each day.
• Dosage should be individualized based on patient response.
