Mechanism Of Action Of Timolol Maleate
- Timolol is a non-selective β-adrenergic receptor blocker. It reduces intraocular pressure by decreasing the production of aqueous humor in the eye. It is used to treat glaucoma and ocular hypertension.
Therapeutic Indications Of Apimol Timolol Maleate Eye Drops
- Used in case of:
- Lowering elevated intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma.
- Lowering intraocular pressure in patients with ocular hypertension.
- Prevention of ocular hypertension progression to glaucoma.
Method Of Administration Of Apimol Timolol Maleate Eye Drops
- Applied topically to the affected eye as prescribed, usually twice daily.

- If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
- If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
