Therapeutic Indications Of Triolite Cream

  • Melasma is a skin condition that can be treated by applying triolite cream to your face.
  • Melasma is characterized by dark (hyperpigmented) patches of skin on the face, particularly on the cheeks and forehead.
  • Hormone changes are typically responsible for this condition.
  • For the short-term (up to 8 weeks) treatment of moderate to severe facial melasma, use triolite cream.
  • It is not for maintenance (ongoing) or long-term (more than 8 weeks) treatment of melasma.
  • It may not be necessary to use medication to treat milder forms of melasma.
  • Melasma can also be controlled by avoiding the sun and ceasing to use hormonal birth control methods.

 

Method Of Administration Of Triolite Cream

  • Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
  • Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
  • Gently wash your face with a mild cleanser. Don’t use a washcloth to apply the cleanser, just your fingers. Rinse and pat your skin dry.
  • Apply Triolite Cream at night, at least 30 minutes before bedtime.
  • Apply a thin layer of the product to your skin and gently massage until absorbed.
  • Always use the dosage described in the leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor.
  • If you think that the effect of the medicine is too weak or too strong, please consult your doctor or pharmacist
  • Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
  • If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
  • If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
  • Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.

 

Undesirable Side Effects Of Triolite Cream

  • Although the following side effects are not common in everyone, some patients may complain from:
  1. Pruritus
  2. Redness

  • Before you use this medicine talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are:
