Mechanism Of Action Of Moxifloxacin

• Inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, enzymes essential for DNA replication, transcription, repair, and recombination.

Therapeutic Indications Of Viagacin

• Acute bacterial sinusitis
• Acute bacterial exacerbation of chronic bronchitis
• Community-acquired pneumonia
• Skin and soft tissue infections
• Intra-abdominal infections

Method Of Administration Of Viagacin

• Take one tablet (400 mg) orally once daily.
• Swallow whole with water; can be taken with or without food.
• Take at the same time each day for better efficacy.
• Complete the full course even if symptoms improve.

Undesirable Side Effects Of Viagacin

May cause:

1. Nausea
2. Dizziness
3. Headache
4. Diarrhea
5. QT interval prolongation (heart rhythm changes)
