Mechanism of action of Solifenacin

It works by relaxing the muscle that is found in the wall of the bladder.

This helps to increase the volume of pee your bladder can hold and control the release of pee.
Therapeutic Indications of Lifance
-
indicated for the treatment of adults with overactive bladder with symptoms of urge urinary incontinence, urgency, and urinary frequency.
Method of Administration of Lifance

The recommended oral dose of Solifenacin Succinate Tablets is 5 mg once daily.

If the 5 mg dose is well tolerated, the dose may be increased to 10 mg once daily.

Solifenacin Succinate Tablets should be taken with water and swallowed whole.

Solifenacin Succinate Tablets can be administered with or without food.
- Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
- If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
- If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
- Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.

Tell your pharmacist or doctor if you're taking:
any medicine that makes you drowsy, gives you a dry mouth, or makes it difficult for you to pee. Taking solifenacin might make these side effects worse
ketoconazole or itraconazole, medicines used to treat fungal infections
ritonavir, a medicine used to treat HIV
Storage Conditions of Lifance
- Store below 25.
- Don’t freeze.
- Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
- Store in the original package to protect from moisture.
- Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the box/blisters/label.
- The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.
