Description

• Deslin oral solution is an antiallergy medicine that does not make you drowsy. It helps control your allergic reaction and its symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis, such as sneezing, runny or itchy nose, itchy palate, and itchy, red, or watery eyes.
• Deslin oral solution is also used to relieve symptoms associated with urticaria (a skin condition caused by an allergy), including itching and hives. Relief of these symptoms lasts a full day and helps you to resume your normal daily activities and sleep.

How To Use

• Children 1-5 years of age: The recommended dose is 2.5 ml (1/2 of a 5 ml spoonful) of oral solution once a day.
• Children 6-11 years of age: The recommended dose is 5 ml (one 5 ml spoonful) of oral solution once a day.
• Adults and adolescents (12 years of age and older): The recommended dose is 10 ml (two 5 ml spoonfuls) of oral solution once a day.

Warnings and Precautions

• Do not take Deslin if you are allergic to desloratadine, loratadine, or any other ingredients in this medicine.
• Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Deslin if you have poor kidney function.
• Do not give this medicine to children under 1 year of age.

Other Medicines and Deslin

• There are no known interactions of Deslin with other medicines. Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken, or might take any other medicines.

Deslin with Food and Drink

• Deslin may be taken with or without a meal.

Possible Side Effects

• Like all medicines, Deslin can cause side effects, although not everyone experiences them. Possible side effects include headache, insomnia, QT prolongation, dry mouth, diarrhea, jaundice, photosensitivity, fatigue, fever, and asthenia.

How to Store this Product

• Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date, which is stated on the carton and bottle after EXP. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
• Store in the original container. Do not store above 30°C. Protect from light.
• Do not use this medicine if you notice any changes in the appearance of the oral solution.
• Do not dispose of this medicine via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines you no longer use to help protect the environment.
