Mechanism Of Action Of Siponimod

• Siponimod is a selective sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P) receptor modulator. It binds to S1P receptors on lymphocytes, preventing their egress from lymph nodes and reducing their numbers.

• Treatment of relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis in adults including active secondary progressive multiple sclerosis

 

Method Of Administration Of Mayzent 2 Mg Tablets

• Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
• Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• Take one tablet orally once a day, with or without food
• The recommended starting dose is 0.25 mg per day, followed by a maintenance dose of 2 mg per day.
• Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
• If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
• If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
• Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.

• Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them, but you may suffer from:
