Budesonide is a potent topical anti-inflammatory agent.

It binds and activates glucocorticoid receptors (GR) in the effector cell (e.g., bronchial) cytoplasm that allows the translocation of this budesonide-GR complex in the bronchi nucleus, which binds to both HDCA2 and CBP (HAT).
Therapeutic Indications of Avalon, Cortrief

indicated for the treatment and maintenance of mild to moderate Crohn's disease.

Various inhaled budesonide products are indicated for prophylactic therapy in asthma
Method of Administration of Avalon, Cortrief

Budesonide powder for oral inhalation is usually inhaled twice a day.

Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
- If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
- If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
- Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.

nausea, vomiting, rectal bleeding;
pain or burning when you urinate
