Mechanism Of Action Of Rivaroxaban

• Rivaroxaban is an oral anticoagulant that inhibits factor Xa in the coagulation cascade. By blocking factor Xa, it reduces the formation of thrombin, a key enzyme in blood clot formation. This helps prevent and treat thromboembolic events, such as deep vein thrombosis and atrial fibrillation-associated stroke.

Therapeutic Indications Of  Varoxa 10 Mg Tablets

• Used in case of:

1. Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH).
2. Chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH).
3. Digital ulcers in systemic sclerosis.

Method Of Administration Of Varoxa 10 Mg Tablets

• Typically taken orally once daily with or without food.
• Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
• If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
• If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
• Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.
