Mechanism Of Action Of Rivaroxaban
- Rivaroxaban is an oral anticoagulant that inhibits factor Xa in the coagulation cascade. By blocking factor Xa, it reduces the formation of thrombin, a key enzyme in blood clot formation. This helps prevent and treat thromboembolic events, such as deep vein thrombosis and atrial fibrillation-associated stroke.

- Used in case of:
- Prevention of venous thromboembolism.

- Taken orally once or twice daily with food, as directed by a physician.
