Mechanism Of Action Of Sunitinib 25 Mg Capsules
- Sunitinib amends the activity of various enzymes involved in tumor growth, pathologic angiogenesis, and metastatic progression of cancer.
Therapeutic Indications Of Sutent Capsules
- Sunitinib is indicated in adult patients for the treatment of the following conditions:
- the treatment of gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) after disease progression on or intolerance to imatinib mesylate.
- the treatment of advanced renal cell carcinoma (RCC).
- the adjuvant treatment of adult patients at high risk of recurrent RCC following nephrectomy.
- the treatment of progressive, well-differentiated pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (pNET) in patients with unresectable locally advanced or metastatic disease.
Method Of Administration Of Sutent Capsules
- Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
- Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
- Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
- If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
- If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
- Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.

- Fatigue
- Diarrhea
