• Tropicamide is an anticholinergic used in the eye to dilate the pupil. It works by blocking the receptors in the muscles of the iris, preventing them from contracting and thus leading to dilation.

• One or two drops in the affected eye(s) as needed.

• If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
