Mechanism Of Action Of Fusidic Acid-Betamethasone Cream
- Fusidic Acid-Betamethasone contains two different types of medicine. One medicine is called fusidic acid. It is a type of antibiotic.
- The other medicine is called betamethasone. It is a type of corticosteroid (steroid). These two medicines work at the same time in different ways.
- The antibiotic kills germs (bacteria) that cause infections.
- The corticosteroid reduces any swelling, redness, or itchiness of your skin.
Therapeutic Indications Of Fucicort Cream
- It is used to treat conditions where the skin is inflamed (eczema or dermatitis) and also infected by bacteria.
Method Of Administration Of Fucicort Cream
- Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
- Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
- The recommended dose:
- It is usually recommended that you use this medicine twice daily.
- Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
- If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
- If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
