How Can It Help?

• Panadol Extend is a bilayer tablet with both immediate and sustained release of paracetamol, providing pain relief for up to 8 hours.
• It relieves mild to moderate pain associated with osteoarthritis and muscle aches.
• Also effective for headache, migraine, period pain, pain after dental procedures/tooth extraction, toothache, and fever or pain after vaccination.

Mechanism Of Action

• Acts on the hypothalamus to reduce fever.
• Blocks pain impulse generation and inhibits prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system.

Instructions For Use

• For oral administration only.
• Adults (including the elderly) and children aged 12 years and over:
• Take 2 tablets every 6 - 8 hours.
• Do not take more than 6 tablets (4000mg paracetamol) in 24 hours.
• Do not take more frequently than every 6 hours.
• Do not use for more than 10 days unless directed by a doctor.
• Do not chew or suck the tablet; swallow it whole with water.
• Not recommended for children under 12 years of age.

• Do not exceed the stated dose.
