• Trimetazidine is a medicine used to prevent angina attacks, which are sudden pains to the chest, jaw, and back brought on by physical effort, due to reduced blood flow to the heart.
• Angina is commonly associated with a narrowing of the blood vessels that supply the heart, called the coronary arteries.

• Trimetazidine is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of stable angina pectoris in patients inadequately controlled or intolerant to first-line therapies

Method Of Administration Of Vastarel Mr Tablets

• Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
• Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• The recommended dose of Trimetazidine is one tablet to be taken two times a day during meals
• in the morning and evening.
• If you have kidney problems or if you are older than 75 years old, your doctor may adjust the
• recommended dose.
• Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
• If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
• If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
• Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.
