Method Of Administration Of Uvamin Retard 100 Mg Capsules

• Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
• Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• The recommended dose:
• Adults
• 50-100 mg four times a day --the lower dosage level is recommended for uncomplicated urinary tract infections.
• Pediatric Patients
• 5-7 mg/kg of body weight per 24 hours, given in four divided doses (contraindicated under one month of age).
• Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
• If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
• If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
• Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.

2. If you are suffering from any illness-causing severe weakness
3. If you have anemia (a decrease in red blood cells causing pale skin, weakness, and breathlessness); or a lack of vitamin b or abnormal levels of salts in your blood (your doctor will be able to advise you)
4. If you have a history of allergic reactions
5. If you have any problems with your kidneys
6. If glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency “G6PD deficiency”
7. If you have any disease of the lungs, liver, or nervous system
