Mechanism Of Action Of Paracetamol
- Acts on the hypothalamus to produce an antipyretic effect, as fever develops when the hypothalamus is set to a higher-than-normal temperature.
- May work peripherally to block pain impulse generation and inhibit prostaglandin synthesis in the CNS.

Method Of Administration Of Panadol Blue Tablets
- Adults (including elderly) and children aged 12 years and over: Take 2 tablets up to 4 times daily. Do not exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours.
- Children aged 10-12 years: Take half to one tablet (250mg-500mg) every 4-6 hours as required. Do not exceed 4 tablets in 24 hours. Do not take for more than 3 days without medical advice.
- Children under 10 years: Not recommended.
- Swallow the tablet with a full glass of water, with or without food.
- Do not take more frequently than every 4 hours.
- In case of overdose, seek medical attention immediately, even if you feel well.

- Allergic reactions: rash, hives, itching, swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat, difficulty breathing.
- Breathing difficulties, especially if previously experienced with aspirin or ibuprofen.
- Nausea, sudden weight loss, yellowing of skin or eyes, loss of appetite.
- Unexplained bruising or bleeding.
