• Fluvoxamine Maleate is an anti-depressant medicine used to treat Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Depression

• The symptoms of depression vary from one person to another, but often include deep sadness, feelings of worthlessness, loss of interest in favorite activities, sleep disturbances, feeling of being slowed down, feelings of anxiety, and weight changes.

Method Of Administration Of Faverin 100 Mg Tablets

• This medicine is intended for adults and children aged 8 years and older.
• Take as indicated by your doctor.
• Take with or without food.
• Take it at bedtime if you are taking it once a day.
• This medicine may affect your alertness. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how you are affected.
• Adults: the recommended initial dose is 50 mg once daily at bedtime. Your doctor will gradually increase the dose for you. The usual dose range is 100 – 300 mg daily.
• Children 8 – 17 years: the recommended initial dose is 25 mg once daily at bedtime. The usual dosage range is 50 – 200 mg daily.
• Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
• If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
• If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
• Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.
