• Cefradine is a cephalosporin. Like penicillins, it is a beta-lactam antibiotic. It acts by binding to specific penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs) located inside the bacterial cell wall thus it inhibits the bacterial cell wall synthesis.
• Without a cell wall, a bacterial cell is vulnerable to outside water and molecular pressures, which causes the cell to quickly die.

• The capsules should be swallowed whole with a glass of water and can be taken before or after meals.

• The recommended dose is 250mg or 500mg 4 times a day or 500mg-1000mg 2 times daily
