• Cefpodoxime is a cephalosporin. Like penicillins, it is a beta-lactam antibiotic. It acts by binding to specific penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs) located inside the bacterial cell wall thus it inhibits the bacterial cell wall synthesis.
• Without a cell wall, a bacterial cell is vulnerable to outside water and molecular pressures, which causes the cell to quickly die.

Method Of Administration Of Cefodox 200 Mg Tablets

• Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
